ODPA, also known as oxidized dibenzoic anhydride or ODPA anhydride, is a solid that melts in the range of 225-229°C, allowing greater flexibility than other commercial dianhydrides. It is also slightly less reactive than BTDA. ODPA is mainly used in polyimide and rarely in epoxy resin. It imparts special properties in production of free films and high-end personal electronic devices.
